These are very stressful times.  We live with uncertainty every day.  "Will I be able to keep up with my mortgage payments?"  "Will I have a job tomorrow?  Next week?  Next month?"  "Who will be our next President?  Will he be the leader our country so desperately needs?"  "Prices keep going up.  When will it end?"  "We are destroying our planet with our pollution and thoughtless ways.  When will we wake up to our destructive policies and habits?"

During times like these our attitudes are as important as our circumstances.  (Maybe even more important!)  Here are some suggestions for developing a healthier outlook on life.

OVERCOME PERFECTIONISM:  Perfectionism increases our stress.  One hundred years from now it won't matter whether we did everything perfectly.

PLAY MUSIC DURING YOUR COMMUTE.

GET A MASSAGE:  Check out "My Favorites" section of the website.  Laura Knapke's touch and demeanor is sure to relax you.

GOOF OFF A LITTLE:  Let your inner child come out and play for awhile.

LAUGH WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

TAKE A BREAK FROM THE NEWS:  The media is thriving on providing us with the worst of the worst news.  Being informed is fine but being glued to the TV is not.

READ A GOOD BOOK:  It can get your mind off your woes for awhile.

LIVE IN THE MOMENT:  The past is past.  You can't change it now.  The future isn't here yet.  So, focus on the NOW.  It's all you have at any given moment.
